A peer-reviewed academic journal “Siberian Herald of Agricultural Science” has been published since January 1971, and is bimonthly (six issues a year).

The journal is meant for research workers and agricultural specialists.

It is of scientific and practical importance, and covers present-day accomplishments of agrarian science in the fields of biotechnology, soil management, plant production and breeding, horticulture, plant protection, animal husbandry and nutrition, veterinary medicine, fish farming and aquaculture, agriproducts processing.

Findings of original theoretical and experimental investigations and survey articles on urgent topics as well as brief reports are accepted for publication. Papers by postgraduate students are placed under headings From The Dissertations and Brief Reports.

The academic journal “Siberian Herald of Agricultural Science” has been included in the Higher Certification Commission (VAK) List of Russian Reviewed Scientific Periodicals issued in the Russian Federation, in which major scientific results of theses for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences should be published.

The journal is presented in the AGRIS International Bibliographical Database, and put in the catalogue Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, Bowker, USA, is presented in the international research databases of EBSCO.

The “Siberian Herald of Agricultural Science” is enlisted in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) on the Web of Science platform.
