FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF AGRO-INFORMATICS AT THE SIBERIAN BRANCH OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES
Abstract
There are considered the stages of formation and development of agro-informatics at the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the first days of the Branch’s establishment. There is described the chronology of structural and personnel changes in the institutions of the Branch, which are bound up with increasing demand for specialized information and analytical support for research efforts. Data are given on the most significant development works and their authors in the field of researching physical processes taking place in machines, mechanisms and biological objects as well as in the field of automation of technological processes in agricultural production.
